Which plan is right for me?

The Staff/Resource Plan is better when a large number of services are provided.

Example: A salon with 10 stylists each providing 15 services requires 150 combinations. The Combinations Professional Plan would cost $125/month. However, in the Staff/Resource Plan is just $15/month for 7 stylists since every 3rd stylist is free, only $105.

The Combinations Plan is better if you have a lot of people offering small number of services.

Example: You coordinate college entrance interviews. 30 professors, each with his/her own availability, conduct 30 minute interviews. The system requires just 30 combinations. The Combinations Standard Plan is only $30/month, whereas the Staff/Resource Plan for 30 staff would cost $300/month.

What is a Staff/Resource?

This is a person or some other resource, like a piece of equipment or a meeting room, whose time you want to allocate to appointments. Each staff/resource has its own schedule of availability for appointments. When an appointment is booked, that time is reserved and unavailable for other appointments.

What are Combinations?

Each appointment specifies a service provided by a staff/resource. A combination is the setting that allows a staff/resource to be booked for a service.

Example: Bart is a massage therapist offering Swedish Massage in 30 and 60 minute durations. The system requires 2 Combinations:

1. Bart + 30min Swedish Massage

2. Bart + 60min Swedish Massage

What is a Resource Pool?

A group of resources, people, computers, or other things, where all resources in the group have the same availability, and offer the same services. Resources in a pool are essentially anonymous. There is no reason to choose one resource over another for an appointment.

Example: 25 nurses are available Monday mornings to conduct 15 minute health screenings.
